Microsoft Partner Network agora se chama Microsoft Cloud Partner Program.
Microsoft partners provide services that help customers achieve business goals and missions using Microsoft products. Partners need access to the customer's environment when acting on the customer's behalf to manage, configure, and support Azure services.
You can link to a PartnerID in one of the following ways.
Partner-Administrator Link (PAL)used for subscriptions to modern trading platforms (Azure plan). It allows Microsoft to identify and recognize partners who drive the success of Azure customers. Revenue impacted and consumed by Azure can be assigned by Microsoft to your organization based on account permissions (Azure role) and scope (subscription, resource group, resource). PAL's tracking features are automated and require no partner intervention.
Digital Partner of Record (DPOR)used for Enterprise Agreement (EA) subscriptions. Associate maintenance partners with a Microsoft cloud subscription. This is the online ability to connect a partner to a customer's Microsoft online subscription. DPOR benefits the customer, the partner, and Microsoft. DPOR also allows partners to help customers optimize their use to achieve desired business results. When a client switches from the EA to the modern trading platform, the DPOR status does not change with him.

When an Enterprise Agreement subscription is moved to the Modern Commerce Platform, the Partner ID is not transferred.

For simplicity, we recommend creating a master service account in your tenant, linking it to your partner ID, and granting access to each customer you integrate with.Integrated Azure Function eligible for credit purchased through a partner. For more information, seeLink your partner ID to track your impact on delegated features.
How do I explain the Partner Management Link (PAL) to my customer?
The Partner Admin Link (PAL) allows Microsoft to identify and recognize partners who help customers achieve business goals and create value in the cloud. Customers must first grant a partner access to their Azure resources. Once access is granted, the partner's PartnerID is assigned. This connection helps Microsoft understand the IT service provider ecosystem and refine the tools and programs needed to better support our mutual customers.
What data does PAL collect?
Mapping PAL to existing credentials does not transfer new customer data to Microsoft. It only provides telemetry data to Microsoft when a partner is actively participating in a customer's Azure environment. Microsoft may assign revenue impacted and consumed by Azure from the customer's environment to the partner organization based on the account (Azure role) and scope (management group, subscription, resource group, resource) permissions provided to the partner for the customer .
Does PAL mapping compromise the security of a customer's Azure environment?
PAL mapping just adds the partners' PartnerID to the credentials already provided. Does not change permissions (Azure role) and does not provide additional Azure service data to partner or Microsoft.
